JOB SUMMARY The Senior Line Leader is responsible for providing hands-on support to the Supervisors during the daily execution of the production schedule

Requirements

  • You can communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • You have basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, and percentage.
  • You are detail-oriented and can perform tasks carefully, accurately, and efficiently in accordance with specific instructions and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • You can follow through on assignments and complete them in a timely and competent manner.
  • You are computer and MES literate.
  • You have a positive attitude and demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • You will monitor lines for quality and efficiency
  • You will be responsible for setting up lines, prior to running the line
  • You will maintain a daily head count and ensure that every line has the correct number of people assigned to it.
  • You will complete all required record keeping and paperwork completely, accurately and on time.
  • You will communicate all safety, ergonomic, quality, productivity and mechanical issues to the Supervisors in a timely manner.
  • You will be responsible for meeting efficiency goals including ensuring accurate line staffing and monitoring line speeds versus standards.
  • You will ensure proper line clearance and verification of proper components on the line versus the bill of material.
  • You will provide support to the Line Lead during shift start and the beginning of any new MO by reviewing paperwork and auditing first sample to ensure line is ready to staff/run.
  • You will provide hands-on support to the Supervisors and Line Leads including timely communication of any safety, quality, performance, and personnel issues.
  • You will be responsible for daily review and understanding of the production schedule and priorities, and ensure MOs and standards are ordered on time.
  • You will assist in the implementation of department initiatives (5S, OEE, Kaizen).
  • You will interact with relevant departments to communicate production needs and process discrepancies.
  • You will run lines in the event of a shortage of Line Leaders.
  • You will step in for Production Supervisors when they are unavailable.
  • You will support departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
  • You will follow all GMP and Safety requirements.
