About The Position

Our client, an iconic Los Angeles dining destination known for its modern Vietnamese cuisine, refined technique, and elevated guest experience is seeking an experienced Senior Line Cook to join their high-performance culinary team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can confidently run a station, execute at a high level during peak service, and serve as a leader on the line. The Senior Line Cook plays a critical role in maintaining quality, consistency, and pace in one of Beverly Hills’ premier dining destinations. This position requires technical precision, urgency, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in upscale, fine-dining, or high-volume kitchens.
  • Strong knife skills and mastery of cooking techniques.
  • Proven ability to run a station independently during peak service.
  • Excellent attention to detail and plating precision.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Station Leadership
  • Own and operate a designated station (sauté, grill, fish, garde manger, etc.) with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure flawless mise en place, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Execute dishes to exact recipe, timing, and plating standards.
  • Maintain consistency and quality throughout each service.
  • High-Volume Service Execution
  • Perform confidently during busy service periods.
  • Communicate clearly with expediters, sous chefs, and fellow line cooks.
  • Support ticket flow to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
  • Prep & Production
  • Complete prep assignments efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor product levels and communicate needs proactively.
  • Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Mentorship & Team Support
  • Assist in training and guiding junior line cooks.
  • Lead by example in work ethic, discipline, and standards.
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful kitchen environment.
