About The Position

The Senior Line Cook is a seasoned culinary professional responsible for executing high-quality dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency. This role supports all aspects of kitchen operations and plays a critical part in delivering a first-class dining experience. Candidates must demonstrate advanced culinary skills and at least five years of experience in fine dining, private clubs, or luxury hospitality environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant, private club, or luxury hotel.
  • Culinary degree or formal training preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Willingness to work all shifts; morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes to order with precision and consistency.
  • Execute advanced techniques including butchering meats and fish, preparing stocks and sauces, and working multiple stations as needed.
  • Collaborate with chefs on daily and seasonal menu planning.
  • Contribute creative culinary ideas in line with club standards and member expectations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of assigned station(s) throughout service.
  • Ensure all plates meet presentation and quality standards of taste, appearance, and portioning before leaving the kitchen.
  • Monitor inventory levels; assist with ordering, receiving, and proper storage of ingredients.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef and other kitchen staff to uphold kitchen standards and contribute to menu development.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a positive and professional kitchen culture.
