About The Position

Are you ready to use your skills and ideas to shape your team’s future? Maxim Crane Works is looking for a Senior Lift Planner to join our Engineering team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with sales, project teams, and customers to develop safe and accurate lift plans for our fleet of rental equipment. You’ll get hands-on experience with engineering projects from planning to execution, all while growing your technical and professional skills in a supportive environment. Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software.
High school diploma required; associate degree in an engineering-related field preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly.
Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions and documentation.
Must be able to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence and memos and the ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the crane or construction industry.
Applied geometry knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop crane layouts and rigging plans for private, commercial, and industrial projects.
Create standard and critical lift plans using AutoCAD, 3D Lift Plan, or other CAD tools.
Coordinate with Maxim Engineers to develop and approve engineered lift plans.
Work closely with sales and customers to understand project lift requirements.
Perform and present ground bearing pressure calculations for cranes.
Collaborate with other Lift Planners and Engineering Managers to coordinate workload.
Review project documents to ensure compliance with company standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
