About The Position

The Senior Licensing Program Analyst is responsible for all aspects of Convera's money transmitter domestic and international licenses, ensuring a robust level of oversight and due diligence across all critical licensing tasks, working with both external and internal parties. You are responsible for ensuring Convera's licenses remain in good standing, proactively working to understand the ever-changing regulatory landscape and administering all functions related to Convera's licenses. You will also support domestic (primarily US) exams and audits, partnering with the Global Exam team, Regulators, and key stakeholders across the entire Convera organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience in licensing, legal/paralegal, regulatory or financial reporting, internal controls or internal audit
  • An academic background in Law, Finance or Business (or equivalent) or relevant professional qualifications or equivalent work experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with payment license requirements domestic and internationally
  • Understand licensing processes, and systems
  • Experience and comfort researching and navigating regulatory license requirements with support from Convera's legal team
  • Internally motivated with proven time management skills, keen attention to detail, and talent for identifying issues and solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently in a structured, analytical manner with a willing to assume responsibility
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee the licensing framework including regular review and upkeep of domestic and international money transmitter licenses
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of license renewals, reports and other related regulatory requirements
  • Periodic reviews to proactively monitor, identify and update licenses to ensure information is accurate and relevant
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and complete responses to regulatory requests related to Convera licenses
  • Support Legal and Compliance teams with both larger strategic projects and day to day operations critical to the upkeep of Convera licenses
  • Develop and update licensing policies, procedures, and/or guidelines
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on US state requirements related to Convera's licenses
  • Support onsite and offsite regulatory examinations of licensed entities, including compiling requested documentation from Convera stakeholders, reviewing documents prior to delivery to regulators, and facilitating communication with regulators during examinations
  • Review findings and/or feedback from regulators, align with senior management and other stakeholders on remediation plans and responses
