This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. Duties include, however, not limited to: Conducts comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing advanced clinical skills. Develops differential diagnoses and creates individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR). Offers specialized therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of veterans including those with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. Manages complex cases involving multiple service needs. Coordinates care with other providers and community resources. Ensures continuity of care by facilitating transitions of care and providing follow-up services. Contributes to the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health programs and services. Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes for veterans. Maintains accurate and timely documentation in accordance with VA policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Ensures compliance with all applicable legal, ethical, and professional standards.
