About The Position

As Senior Licensed Clinician, you'll serve as a cornerstone of our interdisciplinary leadership team. You'll bring deep mental health expertise and the leadership confidence to match, providing clinical oversight across all levels of care, guiding and developing a multidisciplinary clinical staff, and partnering with organizational leadership to drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Requirements

Active, unrestricted Massachusetts independent clinical licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Massachusetts-licensed Psychologist) in good standing.
Master's degree or higher in a behavioral health-related field meeting Massachusetts licensure requirements.
5 to 7 years of progressive clinical experience in mental health and/or co-occurring disorder treatment, preferably in outpatient, IOP, or higher levels of care.
3 to 5 years of supervisory, clinical leadership, or program oversight experience in a behavioral health or integrated treatment setting.
Proven experience providing formal clinical supervision to licensed and pre-licensed clinicians in accordance with Massachusetts regulations.
Working knowledge of ASAM criteria, co-occurring disorder treatment, and medication-assisted treatment.
Knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and Massachusetts behavioral health regulations.
Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation standards.

Responsibilities

Lead clinical programming across all levels of care, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
Supervise all clinical staff activities including group facilitation, individual therapy, documentation, and treatment planning to maintain the highest standards of care.
Provide direct clinical services as needed to support program operations and clinical continuity.
Lead multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and foster collaborative, client-centered care planning.
Serve as clinical supervisor for counselors, facilitating weekly or biweekly individual and group supervision using reflective, trauma-informed practices.
Facilitate staff development initiatives and champion continuing professional education.
Promote a psychologically safe, recovery-oriented workplace that supports staff wellbeing and mitigates burnout.
Ensure staff credentialing, licensure, and required training remain current and compliant.
Participate in monthly medical records reviews and QA/QI meetings and lead clinical performance improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with billing partners and utilization review functions to support medical necessity, documentation accuracy, and reimbursement compliance.
Partner with EHR vendors and internal stakeholders to develop and maintain clinical documentation infrastructure.
Assist with readiness activities for state licensing visits, audits, and accreditation surveys.
Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts for clinical staff.
Complete annual performance evaluations and provide ongoing performance management in collaboration with HR.
Network with referral partners and community stakeholders to support program growth and continuity of care.
