About The Position

In this role, you will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal contracts with clients, partners, vendors, and third parties, including services agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and SaaS agreements. You will act as a site manager for the US legal team and advise on payments laws, working closely with the product and payments teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and payments licenses. Additionally, you will keep up to date and analyze global privacy regulations to ensure continued alignment of the company's products and data processing to such regulations. You will interact and work with various departments within the company, including sales, product, marketing, and finance, on diverse legal issues, and perform and provide other general corporate law advice as needed.

Requirements

• A New York licensed attorney with 3-5 years experience as in-house counsel for a Hi-Tech/Fintech company or prominent law firm.
• Proven legal experience in the field of payments and privacy.
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask, self-motivated and persistent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
