About The Position

In this role, you will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal contracts with clients, partners, vendors, and third parties, including services agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and SaaS agreements. You will also advise on payments laws and work closely with the product and payments teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and payments licenses. Keeping up to date and analyzing global privacy regulations will be essential to ensure continued alignment of the company's products and data processing with such regulations. Additionally, you will interact and work with various departments within the company, including sales, product, marketing, and finance, on diverse legal issues. You will also perform and provide other general corporate law advice as needed.

Requirements

• A New York licensed attorney with a minimum of 4 years experience as in-house counsel for a Hi-Tech/Fintech company or prominent law firm.
• Proven legal experience in the field of payments and privacy.
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask, self-motivated, and persistent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
