About The Position

The Senior Legal Counsel - Data & Security at Dassault Systemes will be a key member of the North American legal team, focusing on legal matters related to data security, privacy, and cybersecurity. This role involves collaborating with local lawyers and operational stakeholders to implement data protection policies and manage the company's data protection program. The position requires a strong legal background in privacy and cybersecurity, along with the ability to support contract negotiations and contribute to training and awareness initiatives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited US law school, preferably with an emphasis in Security and Business Law.
• Admission to Massachusetts, California, or other state bar in the U.S.
• 6+ years of legal experience focused on Privacy & Cybersecurity Legal Matters, either at a law firm or in-house.
• Significant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with large domestic and international customers.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines.
• Highly organized with critical attention to detail.
• Strong functional use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Handle legal matters related to data security, privacy, and cybersecurity for Dassault Systemes' companies in the Americas.
• Collaborate with local lawyers and operational stakeholders to implement data protection and cybersecurity policies.
• Contribute to the management of the company's data protection program.
• Conduct research and legal monitoring in personal and non-personal data protection, digital law, and cybersecurity.
• Support the sales organization with contract negotiations.
• Participate in awareness and training actions related to cybersecurity and data law.
• Create or update contractual models and policies in the field of cybersecurity and data law.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range between $165,000 - $195,000 based on experience and target bonus.
