About The Position

The Department of Statistics seeks to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Statistics. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2026. The senior lecturer will be responsible for teaching three courses over the academic year, advising undergraduate senior theses, providing academic and career advice to students, coordinating undergraduate departmental events, and helping to administer the undergraduate curriculum. The position is for five years and renewable contingent upon review and approval of the divisional dean.

Requirements

  • Doctorate or terminal degree in statistics or related discipline required by the time the appointment begins
  • Demonstrated exceptional teaching record
