Senior Lecturer (12 month) Special Education ABA Program
About The Position
The position for the Senior Lecturer (12 month) has the equivalent of 10 courses per academic year, depending on assigned supervision and administrative work. Responsibilities will include maintaining or modifing course content in CANVAS, providing timely feedback and grades on student assignments, holding weekly office hours, communicating with and supporting students being alert to those falling behind. Teaching assignments in the program may involve introductory, intermediate, or advanced graduate courses, and also include Distance or online courses and curriculum development as the demands of course registration and scheduling may require. It also assists in supervising field placements. The individual will attend program and department faculty meetings and engage in ongoing professional development. The university will not sponsor candidates for work visas for this position
Requirements
- PhD in Special Education or relevant discipline, completed by Date of Hire
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential with expertise in ABA and experience in supervising students interested in the BCBA.
