About The Position

MRI Software’s Lease Administration team is seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented professional for a Senior Lease Administrator role based in our Solon, OH office or remote. The Lease Administration team supports a diverse portfolio of Fortune 1000 occupier clients, managing complex global lease and sublease data through MRI’s suite of software solutions. This role is ideal for an individual with 5+ years of experience managing lease portfolios across multiple clients within the occupier division, strong financial acumen, and a deep understanding of global payment processes across US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC regions. A working knowledge of FASB 842 lease accounting standards is also required. You will serve as a key liaison between clients, landlords, and internal teams — ensuring the accuracy of lease data, compliance with contractual terms, and timely financial reporting across regions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in lease administration or real estate accounting, working across multiple occupier clients
  • Familiarity with global payment processes and international financial operations across US, CA, EMEA, and APAC
  • Knowledge of FASB 842 and its impact on lease data and reporting
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related analytical field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain accurate global lease data, including entry, validation, and reconciliation of AR/AP transactions
  • Prepare monthly client reports and financial summaries, ensuring compliance with FASB 842
  • Review and analyze landlord reconciliation statements, operating expense true-ups, and real estate tax bills
  • Partner with clients to resolve complex billing discrepancies and disputes with landlords or vendors
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with multiple client stakeholders
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve portfolio performance and reporting efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and ensure alignment with client objectives
