About The Position

As a Senior Learning Designer at Oracle, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining high-quality training content tailored for our clients. This position requires you to apply instructional design best practices to create both computer-based and instructor-led training materials. You will be an integral part of the Consulting organization, ensuring that our software solutions are delivered effectively and meet client expectations. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will work with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of training content. In this role, you will conduct needs analysis by collaborating with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and write clear objectives. You will analyze existing course materials to ensure that learning levels are appropriately aligned across training programs. Your expertise will be essential in designing and developing instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, and multimedia content. You will create engaging eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and other educational tools, ensuring that all content is accessible and aligned with learning objectives. You will utilize instructional design models, such as ADDIE, to create effective learning experiences and design assessments to measure learning outcomes. Staying current with emerging technologies will be crucial as you integrate these into your instructional design practices. Your role will also involve technical writing, where you will translate complex information into user-friendly content, ensuring clarity and adherence to established style guides. Project management skills will be essential as you collaborate on an AGILE Scrum team, contributing to story point estimation and sprint planning meetings. You will lead small groups and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-solving skills will be vital as you utilize critical thinking to resolve complex learning design and technical issues. Maintaining open communication with stakeholders will ensure alignment between the team's work and project objectives. Additionally, you will provide guidance and coaching to team members on instructional design best practices, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
