About The Position

RH is seeking a Senior Leader, Event Design to shape brand-led experiences from concept to delivery. This role defines the creative vision, spatial planning, and design language for RH's global events, including public launches, gallery openings, press previews, and private Gallery events. The position translates RH's design ethos and storytelling into three-dimensional, experiential environments that reflect the brand's point of view and standards of quality, service, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Strong aesthetic sensibility consistent with RH's brand, architectural principles, and design philosophy
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, preferred
  • Experience translating brand ethos into built environments and experiential activations
  • Proven ability to lead creative projects that balance design intent with budgets, timelines, and build logistics
  • Strong understanding of spatial design including circulation, guest flow, atmosphere, light, sound, and scale
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp or Rhino is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience supporting executive-level presentations
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple global projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative, hands-on creative leader who thrives in interdisciplinary settings

Responsibilities

  • Uphold the integrity of RH's design ethos and visual storytelling across all event touchpoints worldwide
  • Lead the creative development and presentation of event design concepts, including layouts, renderings, and visual decks for all global events
  • Contribute to overall design strategy, creative direction, and design standards for RH's global and private events
  • Design and produce event deliverables and activations, including mood boards, scaled floor plans, circulation studies, signage, lounges, bars, and other experiential elements
  • Develop executable design solutions that balance creative intent with logistics, materials, budgets, timelines, and site conditions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Visual Merchandising, Architecture and Design, Construction, and Hospitality teams to align event environments with gallery layouts and operational flow
  • Partner with PR and Marketing to ensure each experience aligns with strategic brand objectives and strengthens the overall narrative
  • Work closely with vendors and production partners to realize designs with uncompromising quality, feasibility, and precision in execution
  • Support leadership in articulating and presenting design concepts and strategies to executive stakeholders
  • Provide design and CAD support to the Architecture and Design teams for executive presentations and special initiatives
