About The Position

Discover is looking for a Senior Lead User Acceptance Tester who will ensure that test plans cover applicable scenarios and track defects in company-sponsored testing software. This role involves leading business defect resolutions and driving requirements between the business and technology teams to eliminate post-install defects. The Senior Lead User Acceptance Tester will also manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues, execute and track test case results, and provide regular testing progress reports. Additionally, the position includes training and supporting team members, delivering testing communications, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years User Acceptance Testing experience supporting related business functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure test plans cover applicable scenarios.
• Track defects in company-sponsored testing software.
• Lead business defect resolutions.
• Drive requirements between business and technology teams to eliminate post-install defects.
• Lead efforts to turn over test cases to the regression testing team.
• Manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues.
• Execute and track test case results.
• Open defects and partner with teams to resolve them.
• Lead test plan design and provide regular testing progress reports.
• Train, develop, and support team members.
• Deliver testing communications between teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate regression testing.
