About The Position

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector Enterprise Technology, you will be an experienced member of an agile team. Your responsibilities include designing and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products. Additionally, you will implement critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support various business functions and help achieve the firm’s business objectives. You will be an integral part of an agile team that's constantly pushing the envelope to enhance, build, and deliver top-notch technology products.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Strong experience with PySpark/Python, Java, AWS, and Databricks or Snowflakes
  • Proven project lead or team lead experience
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and navigate ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering enterprise-grade software solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Java/Python development experience.
  • Strong Data engineering experience
  • Exposure to machine learning and other Gen AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of regulatory model applications and cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and efficient solutions to process large data volumes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to high quality standards.
  • Contribute to strategic technology decisions and provide project/technical leadership.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Remain hands-on, contributing directly to implementation and technical delivery.
