About The Position

As a Senior or Lead Roads Engineer, you will contribute to the managing, design, and delivery of road and highway infrastructure projects that connect communities and improve mobility. You'll be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team working on some of Australia's most significant transport infrastructure projects, reimagining how roads can shape a more sustainable and connected world. You are also expected to: Undertake design and analysis for highways, urban roads, intersections, and transport corridors. Perform and oversee geometric design, other road and civil design elements, including report writing, leading a small team to deliver road designs or other civil projects / engineering activities. Support feasibility assessments, concept and detailed designs, and technical documentation. Work collaboratively with civil, structural, and transport specialists across Aurecon's global offices. Contribute to project delivery through technical calculations, reports, and design models. Ensure design outputs align with relevant standards (Austroads, Main Roads WA design supplements, or equivalent). Support sustainability and innovation initiatives within project design.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Registered professional Engineer
• At least 7-10+ years roads design / civil experience
• Demonstrated roads design experience, leading and directing designers and drafters and working in / leading a small multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated Australian project experience will be viewed favorably
• Open Roads Designer experience will be viewed favorably, however applicants with other civil design packages such as 12d or Civil 3d will also be viewed favorably
