Senior/Lead Identity Protection Engineer

About the position

iHeartMedia, the number one audio company in America, is seeking a seasoned Senior/Lead Identity Protection Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing and supporting critical Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes. This role requires expertise in identity governance, access controls, provisioning/de-provisioning, access certifications/review, and identity operations. The candidate should stay updated on emerging identity trends and technologies, possessing a blend of technical expertise, development skills, and a strategic mindset to design, implement, and manage cutting-edge IAM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure IAM solutions, focusing on least privilege use and zero-trust.
• Design and deploy access controls, identity lifecycle management, and authentication mechanisms.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge in AWS IAM, Google Cloud Identity, Entra ID, and AD Directory services.
• Integrate IAM principles within application development, ensuring secure coding practices.
• Leverage cloud platform expertise to design and implement IAM solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Utilize programming and scripting languages, focusing on Python or PowerShell, for developing IAM-related application code.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits, identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance.
• Automate IAM tasks and workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to develop and enforce security policies related to IAM.
• Implement and manage identity federation solutions for Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Provide leadership within the IAM domain, guiding and mentoring junior team members.
• Participate in incident response activities related to IAM incidents.

Requirements

• Over 6+ years of experience in identity and access management.
• Substantial expertise in Azure Entra ID, AWS IAM, Google Cloud Identity, and Active Directory.
• Strong development skills, particularly in Python, and familiarity with PowerShell.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Solid grasp of PAM & IAM principles, technologies, and services.
• Strong organization skills and time management.
• Hands-on experience in administering and configuring IAM services.
• Experience with Web Access Management Single Sign-On & MFA.
• Strong application development skills with a focus on integrating IAM controls.
• Ability to design and implement comprehensive IAM solutions.
• Proficient in using scripting languages to automate IAM tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving IAM-related issues.
• Good understanding of RBAC/ABAC methodologies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Leadership qualities and experience in a senior or lead role.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• A university degree in computer science, IT, or Information Security.
