About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Fiduciary Specialist to join its Banking, Lending, & Trust (BL&T) division. BL&T provides access to Wells Fargo Bank products and services for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, focusing on banking, custom lending, and trust services. Specialists in this division utilize resources, research, relationships, and custom solutions to meet client needs and aspirations. BL&T offers guidance on various banking and fiduciary topics, including investment management, trust administration, specialty trusts, custody, tax, specialty assets, regulatory compliance, privacy, ecommerce, deposit relationships, and business strategies. The division also supports the WIM Diverse Segments group. Trust Services advisors provide personalized advice and wealth and asset management services to HNW and UHNW clients.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Fiduciary Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience and education

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of fiduciary professionals responsible for the administration of trust and other fiduciary accounts
  • Lead the strategy and resolution to administer a book of highly complex fiduciary relationships, including analyzing trust and estate documents, implementing client estate plans, and ensuring client accounts are managed in accordance with sound fiduciary principles and applicable laws
  • Engage clients, advisors, and internal partners to deliver a high-touch client experience within a strong risk management framework
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of internal policies and procedures including, but not limited to, distributions, account maintenance, account opening and closing, Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, annual account reviews, and management of overdrafts
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and control development
  • Provide enterprise-level fiduciary expertise and strategic leadership, oversee the interpretation of highly complex governing instruments, and ensure firm-wide adherence to fiduciary principles and prudent investing standards
  • Serve as an escalation point for team members regarding client-related matters, including the resolution of client complaints and the approval of discretionary distributions
  • Act as an advisor and lead team to achieve business objectives and drive execution; participate actively in Wells Fargo Trust's training and mentorship programs
  • Participate in marketing and development initiatives, including building connectivity with centers of influence
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
