The Corporate Security Senior Lead will be a key leader in the management of our guard force, and provide support with access control and video management systems. The competitive candidate will be responsible for leading day to day Security Operations at Headquarters which includes but is not limited to: - Ensuring Guard Force is meeting contractual obligations, SLA elements, and internal TransUnion Compliance requirements. -Working with Contract Guard Force to verify day to day operational readiness through post inspections -Understanding audit requirements and ensure the state of operations is aligned to satisfy those requirements. -Managing inventory and visitor management supplies. -Providing Director of Security with regular performance analysis and other relevant information needed to maximize business review meetings. This individual contributor role will support Global operations via badging operations, travel and event security support and serve as an information hub for the Organization. As the leader of the guard-force, they will be tasked with training and or overseeing consistent training to ensure it is delivered and implemented in alignment with organizational needs. This role will partner and collaborate with stakeholders across Facilities, Information Security and Business Continuity and will have the opportunity to partner in projects specific to Headquarters safety and security.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in managing/supervising guard force and or proprietary Security operations in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in development and sustainment of post orders, standards and guidelines in support of day to operations for guard force.
  • Knowledge of Operational prioritization and understanding of how to adjust on the move.
  • Ability to act with a high level of confidentiality, discernment and professionalism.
  • Demonstrable ability to create badges, amend access based on operational or administrative need, select, train and support new Contract Officers in their duties and transition into TransUnion culture.
  • High school Graduate or equivalent.
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Must be fit to perform duties that include sitting, standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Must be alert and able to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support for projects, high profile movements and sensitive operational tasks.
  • Contract Guard Force management
  • Managing Vendor relationship.
  • Support day-to-day Security Operations at Headquarters which include badging operations, and visitor management.
  • Ability to assess and write clear and comprehensive incident reports
  • Conduct random unannounced spot checks on Guard Force operations.
  • Assess and triage incidents and or issues related to Physical Protection Systems (Access Control, Video Management) Domestically and Internationally to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee visits from High profile visitors.
  • Understand how to pivot operational priorities based on situational assessment.
  • Solve complex problems related workplace violence, investigations, threats.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, trustworthiness and judgement in handling sensitive matters .
  • Support and collaborate with partners within Human Resources, Facilities, Legal and Administration.
