This role contributes to delivering values and driving excellence in the following areas: Performance Plan, Corporate Financial Analysis and Reporting, Supporting and enhancing allocation process, Supporting the strategy for the standardized use of OneStream. This position plays a vital role in supporting the annual Performance Plan, forecasting, and allocation process as well as OneStream strategy. It involves providing insightful analysis on the corporate planning and forecast, supporting ad hoc requests from the leadership team and contributing to strategic initiatives and special projects to streamline systems and enhance processes. This role requires close interaction and collaboration with the Segment, Fixed Costs and Manufacturing Controlling organizations as well as various Corporate Functions and IT system support teams. This role reports to the Manager of Corporate FP&A.

Requirements

  • Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related business degree with ideally 8-10 years' relevant FP&A, corporate finance, business services, accounting, or other analytical experience required.
  • CFA/CPA/MBA preferred.
  • Good understanding in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g. SAP, OneStream) and business intelligence (BI) software.
  • FP&A experience with strong analytical skills is desired.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and business acumen, including the ability to identify and understand key business drivers in the petrochemical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong ability to manage process changes with finance project management and implementation experience is a big plus.
  • A self-starter with ability to shape decisions; engage with stakeholders; and rally support to drive operational and reporting excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage interfaces and build solid relationships with all key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial and metric (volumes, margins, etc.) reporting package and analyses for Performance Plan and forecasting.
  • Support monthly global forecasting and annual Performance Plan processes.
  • Coordinate with Segment Controlling, Fixed Costs Controlling and various Corporate Functions to ensure timely and accurate submission of forecast and plan data.
  • Collect, consolidate, and upload Corporate Function forecast and plan data to forecasting system (OneStream).
  • Review forecast and plan outputs to ensure data accuracy and perform variance analysis.
  • Review Performance Plan submissions to ensure the quality of data and analyses. Research data discrepancies and follow up with functional groups when necessary.
  • Maintain and optimize forecasting and planning models/templates to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiencies in Corporate FP&A.
  • Manage the allocation process to provide accurate view on SG&A costs by segments for actual, forecast and Performance Plan.
  • Responsible for data integrity in forecasting system (OneStream). Coordinate with IT system support team to troubleshoot as needed.
  • Assist ad-hoc requests, such as evaluating new benchmarks, key metrics, and variance analysis and internal reporting needs.
  • Lead and/or actively contribute to initiatives and cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies in FP&A and Finance organization's processes.
  • Support the Finance organization to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting processes and systems.
