About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Banking Relationship Manager responsible for building, maintaining, and growing profitable relationships with Commercial Banking clients, typically with sales revenue up to $100MM. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for clients, proposing relevant products and services, and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership on complex financial solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial lending, loan servicing products, and credit practices.
  • Experience in negotiating interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and delivering strong sales performance.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships in the Emerging Middle Market segment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Commercial Banking account relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, retain, and grow complex to highly complex client relationships through effective relationship management.
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership for structuring, modifying, and renewing complex cash flow and real estate loans.
  • Lead strategy and resolution for a full suite of complex solutions offered to commercial clients.
  • Provide vision and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative business solutions within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group.
  • Engage with all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and resolve client issues while achieving business objectives.
  • Drive relationship planning activities to maintain sales and pipeline disciplines.
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide insights on client and market needs.
