In this position, you will join our Water Utilities team, playing an integral role in delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will provide design leadership for medium-sized projects or packages, ensuring excellence in engineering deliverables while mentoring junior engineers and designers. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
At least 7+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience in design management of medium-sized projects or packages/facilities
Proven track record as civil design lead in municipal water and wastewater treatment infrastructure
Expertise in networks design and pumping systems (water & wastewater)
Solid understanding of hydraulic engineering for open channel and closed conduit systems
Ability to instruct and mentor junior engineers, designers, and drafters, providing guidance and quality assurance
Experience using Plant 3D, Civil 3D, 12D, AutoCAD, Revit (any of the listed)
Strong internal and external stakeholder communication and management skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in detailed design and construction is advantage
Knowledge of Australian water industry standards and codes is advantage

Responsibilities

Lead civil design for municipal water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, including networks design and pumping systems.
Apply hydraulic engineering principles to open channel and closed conduit systems.
Provide engineering guidance and quality assurance across all deliverables generated by junior engineers, designers, and drafters.
Manage design packages for medium-sized projects or facilities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Utilize digital design tools such as Plant 3D, Civil 3D, 12D, AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software for design management and execution.
Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across project teams and clients.
