The Senior Lead Artificial Intelligence Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in shaping and advancing Wells Fargo’s enterprise AI capabilities by designing and enabling scalable, secure, and reusable AI platform solutions. This role partners closely with product, engineering, and business teams to set reference architectures, establish reusable components, and implement guardrails that allow AI solutions to be developed and operated safely, efficiently, and consistently across the organization. The position emphasizes strong technical leadership in prompting and tooling patterns, evaluation harnesses, monitoring, developer experience, and rapid prototyping, while ensuring governance and control mechanisms are embedded directly into AI platforms. Acting as a trusted subject‑matter expert, this leader accelerates AI adoption while balancing innovation, risk management, and enterprise standards. In this role, you will: Act as an advisor to senior leadership in developing a large cross functional team to identify and execute complex artificial intelligence initiatives that span a large line of business Provide consultation to more experienced leaders in order to recommend solutions which solve business challenges Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges ensuring the solution delivers the intended benefits Leverage Artificial Intelligence expertise to evaluate technological readiness, data availability, and resources required to execute the proposed solutions Provide direction on key issues which may arise during development or implementation Cultivate relationships with clients to identify and develop a pipeline of future Artificial Intelligence opportunities which align with the strategic priorities of the business Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Artificial Intelligence Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing, building, or enhancing scalable enterprise AI or machine learning platforms
  • Strong expertise in defining AI reference architectures, reusable components, and shared services
  • Hands-on knowledge of prompting and tooling patterns, evaluation frameworks (EVALs), model monitoring, and rapid prototyping approaches
  • Proven ability to improve AI developer experience through standardized tooling, workflows, and platforms
  • Experience integrating governance, risk, compliance, and control requirements into AI development and deployment processes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical standards and best practices across multiple teams
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into pragmatic, enterprise-ready solutions
