POSITION SUMMARY: Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Senior Law Enforcement Advisor. This position is a key contractor position supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program’s (ICITAP’s) training assistance projects and initiatives. This position will advance ICITAP’s strategies for global, regional and country specific programs, projects, and initiatives through coordination with prospective U.S. interagency partners, professional associations, academic institutions, and subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed. The Senior LE Advisor will apply their extensive law enforcement background and international network throughout criminal justice professional domains to identify and collaborate with interagency partners, professional associations, academic institutions, and SMEs to advance U.S.-based training assistance activities. This position will be directly subordinate to the Assistant Directors (ADs) and Deputy Assistant Directors (DADs) at ICITAP headquarters, and coordinate and support ICITAP Attachés and Program Managers worldwide. The position is broad in scope and duties will include, but are not limited to, assisting in pre-project assessments, participating in the design of new projects, assisting in the coordination between headquarters and field elements, inter-governmental communications, participation in and timely delivery of development of scopes of work, and other tasks that may be assigned.
