About The Position

NV5's Philadelphia office includes a diverse and talented team of landscape architects, civil engineers, urban designers, and planners, and we have a unique studio environment that allows for frequent collaboration amongst disciplines. Our Philadelphia office is conveniently located in Center City Philadelphia, just blocks away from City Hall and all SEPTA and PATCO rail lines. Our employees are active volunteers in our communities, and we are proud to be selected as a “Bike-Phriendly" business by the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia. Many of our staff walk or bike to work, and our office has been designed to accommodate these modes of commuting. Our landscape architecture team is growing! This position offers the opportunity for career growth, client interaction, and the ability to work with a progressive team of professionals that continually seek to improve public spaces with the most current best practices. Our project portfolio includes the new Delaware River Trail on the east side of Philadelphia, many public parks throughout the city and region, green stormwater projects throughout Philadelphia, the Camden County LINK trail, and many other exciting public projects within the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 10 years minimum design experience
  • 5 years Construction Administration experience preferred
  • Landscape Architecture License active for Pennsylvania
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and InDesign
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • High degree of enthusiasm to join a multidisciplinary team of landscape architects, engineers, and planners who strive to improve our local communities through design

Responsibilities

  • Project management through all project phases
  • Landscape Architectural design through all project phases
  • Mentoring staff
  • Redline reviews of project deliverables
  • Community engagement meetings
  • Collaboration with engineers and transportation planners
  • Researching and responding to Requests for Proposals and other marketing/business development pursuits
