We are seeking an experience and motivated Senior Landscape Architect to lead complex municipal and public-sector projects from concept through construction. This role provides technical and design leadership, manages project teams, oversees budgets and schedules, and serves as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. The Senior Landscape Architect also plays a key role in mentoring staff, shaping design standards, and contributing to the firm’s long-term growth and reputation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (Master’s preferred)
- Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) required
- Minimum of 7 years of professional landscape architecture experience
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong experience leading municipal or public-sector projects
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D or Revit preferred
- Proficiency with SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, or similar visualization tools
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Familiarity with GIS tools and project management software preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex, high-visibility municipal projects
- Oversee and approve design concepts, construction documents, and technical deliverables
- Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and resources to ensure successful outcomes
- Serve as the primary client liaison, presenting design solutions and managing feedback
- Mentor and supervise Landscape Architects, junior staff, and design team members
- Coordinate with engineers, planners, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Conduct site visits to support construction administration and ensure design intent
- Contribute to design standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
