About The Position

Coterra is hiring a highly skilled Senior Landman with at least 5 years of subsurface land experience in New Mexico, specifically in Lea and Eddy counties. This role is ideal for a professional with extensive experience working Federal, State, and fee owned minerals, including, but not limited to, lease negotiation, title examination, drilling unit preparation, communitization agreement preparation and land management. Furthermore, Federal and State regulatory compliance experience is required. The successful candidate will focus on asset development that directly supports Coterra's drilling schedule, leasehold interests, and subsurface land transactions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of subsurface land experience.
• Experience in Lea and Eddy counties in New Mexico.
• Extensive knowledge of Federal, State, and fee owned minerals.
• Experience in lease negotiation and title examination.
• Knowledge of drilling unit preparation and land management.
• Experience with Federal and State regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
