Requirements

  • An Associate Degree in Land Surveying or related field, or applicable experience in lieu of education
  • 5+ years of field survey and project management experience
  • A Professional Land Survey (PLS) license or the ability to obtain PLS (preferred)
  • Proficiencies in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office (preferred)
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, either personal or company vehicle, to travel to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
  • To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located
  • To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work

Nice To Haves

  • A Professional Land Survey (PLS) license or the ability to obtain PLS (preferred)
  • Proficiencies in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, construction, and right-of-way surveys for roadway and utility infrastructure projects
  • Support transportation and municipal design teams with accurate field and office survey data
  • Manage survey control, GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, terrestrial scanning, and data processing workflows
  • Coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and field crews
  • Prepare survey deliverables including plats, legal descriptions, and construction staking reports
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with state and local standards
  • Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and scope development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and technical
