Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in land planning or related field.
  • Advanced analytical and research skills.
  • Proficiency in advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of leading teams and driving projects to successful outcomes.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs.
  • Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification in Urban Planning or Landscape Architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research and data collection efforts for complex land-use planning projects.
  • Conduct site analysis activities, including in-depth field surveys and data interpretation.
  • Develop planning documents, such as detailed site plans, zoning maps, and in-depth land-use analyses.
  • Review and analyze project documents, including site plans, zoning ordinances, and environmental impact assessments, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with civil engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of planning and engineering aspects.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on project tasks.
  • Proactively monitor and analyze evolving zoning regulations, environmental policies, and emerging trends in land use.
