E Quality Corporation is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for our client in Dallas, TX. This role is critical in providing advanced level technical support for the enterprise network, addressing and resolving complex technical issues that arise. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the enterprise network while providing technical expertise to both internal clients and external customers in a 24/7 operational environment. This position requires a proactive approach to network performance and security, ensuring that the network supports enterprise applications effectively. The Senior Network Engineer will develop and oversee the implementation of the enterprise network, establishing hardware, firmware, and software migration plans. This includes designing and analyzing requirements and specifications, developing production testing and change control procedures, and providing specifications for the acquisition of new network hardware and software. The role also involves providing Tier 2 support for the enterprise network, addressing complex technical issues that have been escalated beyond Tier-1 support. In addition to technical support, the Senior Network Engineer will provide leadership and oversight for Tier 1 network engineers, guiding them through tasks, projects, and outages. The position requires advanced knowledge and proficiency in installing and configuring network devices such as switches, routers, wireless controllers, and access points. Familiarity with network monitoring and configuration applications, particularly Cisco ISE and Cisco DNAC, is essential. The engineer will also need to have a strong understanding of layer 2 and layer 3 protocols, including VLAN, spanning tree, port channel, QOS, IP, OSPF, and BGP. The role includes initiating and creating enterprise strategies and plans for network administration and security, preparing and maintaining device configurations, and collaborating on the development and deployment of the Disaster Recovery Plan. The Senior Network Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining precise network documentation, reports, and presentations for management review, as well as proactively monitoring and analyzing network performance and security to implement necessary improvements. Participation in scheduled change management and incident management is also required, along with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and meeting agency service level agreements (SLA).
