About The Position

The Senior Laborer position in the City of Warwick's Water Department involves assisting with various unskilled and semi-skilled tasks under the supervision of the Field Supervisor. The role is essential for maintaining and repairing water infrastructure, ensuring the efficient operation of the water supply system.

Requirements

• Graduation from standard high school or G.E.D.
• Previous experience as a laborer or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must obtain a Grade 1D Operator License within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in laying and maintaining waterlines and mains.
• Fit pipe sleeves and perform water taps.
• Maintain and repair hydrants, valves, curb stops, and other related appurtenances.
• Perform other Senior Laborer duties as assigned within the Water Department.
• Perform related work as required.
