About The Position
Performs sample prep including operation of smoking machines and/or wet chemistry techniques. Performs routine analysis in support of product assessment and quality control on tobacco products, including wet chemistry techniques, some instrumental techniques and/or physical tests. Documents results in notebooks and laboratory LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). Performs instrument calibration and is able to recognize errors. Adheres to highest quality standards; ensures compliance with quality system requirements. Communicates effectively with client staff members. Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner. This role supports testing on tobacco products.
