About The Position

Requirements

• Associate's degree in science or technically related discipline.
• U.S. Citizen eligible for a security clearance.
• 7 years' experience in chemical and/or biological laboratory R&D.
• Expertise performing wet chemistry techniques and operation and maintenance of lab instrumentation such as gas/liquid chromatography, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly, multitask, and complete work within schedule.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience performing both chemical and biological lab work.
• DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory research related to the detection and identification of chemical and biological materials.
• Assist with the setup, operation, maintenance, and cleanup of lab equipment and instrumentation for experiments.
• Perform wet chemistry and biology procedures.
• Operate a variety of laboratory instruments and collect data.
• Ensure laboratory experiments are performed safely.
• Maintain and inventory lab supplies and reagents.
• Contribute to data analysis, presentations, technical reports and research publications.
• Support the development of training aids and participate in field testing.
