About The Position

The Senior Laboratory Technician supports lighting performance testing in the UL Solutions Brea Lab, working onsite Monday through Friday. The role includes setting up and operating test equipment, interpreting technical drawings, performing tests, documenting data, and evaluating results with minimal supervision. The technician troubleshoots setups, recommends improvements, maintains equipment, and collaborates with engineers and clients during testing. The position also trains other lab staff and assists with developing or refining test methods while integrating continuous improvement practices.
