About The Position

Represents the laboratory to the public, physicians, patients and offices while assisting laboratory technical staff, receiving/accessioning and/or processing specimens according to laboratory procedures. Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety; environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of a phlebotomy program through a post-secondary school, college, or military program.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior phlebotomy experience.
