About The Position

The Senior Labor Relations Specialist serves as a subject matter expert in employee relations, labor contract administration, collective bargaining, and workplace investigations. This role independently manages complex and sensitive employee relations matters, leads advanced investigations, supports and participates in labor negotiations, and ensures the consistent application of policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). In addition to supporting the Director in systemwide bargaining, this position may independently lead negotiations for assigned collective bargaining agreements. The Senior Specialist plays a critical role in strengthening labor-management relationships, developing best practices for Labor-Management Committees, and promoting a positive, collaborative, and compliant workplace culture within a patient-centered healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 6+ years of Human Resources experience in addition to 4+ years direct labor/employee relations, including complex investigations labor relations work including bargaining

Nice To Haves

  • Masters in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business or related field preferred
  • Experience in a hospital setting preferred
