In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to ensuring product quality, supporting continuous operations, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and compliance.   You will perform a wide range of advanced laboratory and analytical testing activities. Analyzes and tests manufactured and recycled company products—primarily supporting oil and gas applications—to ensure product quality, composition, and compliance with established specifications. Provides experienced technical support within a 24-hour laboratory operation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytical laboratory testing, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, analytical techniques, and laboratory protocols.
  • High school diploma with equivalent laboratory experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, 24-hour lab environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Uses laboratory and analytical equipment to analyze, measure, and test chemicals to ensure quality control of products.
  • Performs analytical testing primarily related to oil and gas products.
  • Prepares specimens, slides, standards, and solutions.
  • Performs calculations and routine and non-routine tests with a high level of accuracy.
  • Prepares and reviews Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • Maintains accurate and detailed laboratory records and documentation.
  • Stocks laboratory supplies and ensures proper inventory levels.
  • Cleans, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory equipment as needed.
  • Adheres to company quality, safety, and compliance processes, as applicable.
  • Assists in resolving product quality issues in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Provides guidance and support to less experienced lab technicians, as needed.
