The Senior KYC and Loan Documentation Specialist at Huntington National Bank is a key role responsible for ensuring compliance with KYC requirements and preparing loan documentation for complex ownership structures. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in banking or finance.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of commercial lending and loan documentation experience.
• Experience in floor planning/inventory finance and/or equipment finance industry.
• Knowledge of credit and risk management functions.
• Prior experience working in global organizations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer organizational structures and identify necessary information for KYC and loan documentation.
• Prepare standard and customized loan documents for complex organizational structures.
• Review UCC searches and filings to determine the need for intercreditor and collateral subordination agreements.
• Meet or exceed accuracy guidelines established by the department and resolve questions in a timely manner.
• Review and approve loan documents prepared by other departments for effectiveness and accuracy.
• Coach stakeholders in reviewing organizational authority and formation documents to ensure required signers are present.
• Collaborate with the Documentation Manager, Onboarding Director, Legal, and Compliance, exercising discretion for higher-level reviews.
• Perform other onboarding and documentation-related duties and special projects as needed.
