Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Science or other technical degree). Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree
  • 5+ years industry experience (pulp & paper or water treatment preferred)
  • Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems
  • Project management of complex projects
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them
  • Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports
  • Experience working with multi levels in an organization to achieve results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using a consultative sales process
  • Must be able to pass screenings (drug screen, background check and physical) and have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and build assigned business relationships
  • Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention
  • Conduct the necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory plants and new customer sites
  • Sell new business and new applications in your territory – develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities
  • Manage profitability of the account (pump settings, pricing, accounts receivable)
  • Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements
