IDEX Corporation is seeking a Senior JD Edwards Business Analyst to join our team in Rutherford, NJ. This role is responsible for identifying, implementing, and maintaining JD Edwards (JDE) system improvements to enhance business efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of manufacturing operations and order-to-cash functions, and will effectively interact with the JDE end user community to identify process inefficiencies and translate them into system improvements. The position reports to the Director of Information Systems and offers opportunities for professional growth in a diverse and dynamic environment.

  • Maintain an instance of JDE and connected software, ensuring maximum uptime.
  • Apply JDE knowledge to business application programs to resolve problems and conduct system analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize business processes through better use of existing system capabilities.
  • Provide support and training to create 'Next Level' super users.
  • Maintain reliable information sources by creating reports and dashboards using JD Edwards, Web intelligence, Power BI, and BIPublisher.
  • Partner with Corporate IT to ensure standards, security, and corporate initiatives are met.
  • Manage IT SOX audit processes to ensure compliance.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and teams, developing action plans and reporting through all levels of management.
  • Provide guidance, training, and development to team members.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and documentation for business processes.
  • Work closely with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their business process improvement needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or Information Systems.
  • 5+ years of JDE experience and system analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with JDE E1, system security, report writing, Change Management, and Project Management.
  • Experience managing audit requirements and creating action plans to address audit standards.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing order to cash processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and standard software development methodologies.
  • Experience with security management and vulnerability mitigation techniques.
