About the position
CSG is looking for a Full-Time Senior Java Software Engineer to work on our cutting-edge CSG Quote and Order platform used by some of the biggest telecommunications companies in the world. The role involves working with the latest technology such as Microservices, Event-based architectures, and Kubernetes. The engineer will creatively solve real-world problems for customers by developing and improving high-quality code that meets both functional and non-functional requirements. Collaboration with Quality Analysts to assess and resolve issues and bugs is also a key part of the job. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to our development toolchain and methodologies, create clear technical component designs considering requirements and architecture, and assist more junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Work on the CSG Quote and Order platform used by major telecommunications companies.
- Utilize modern technologies including Microservices, Event-based architectures, and Kubernetes.
- Develop and improve high-quality code that meets functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality Analysts to assess and resolve issues and bugs.
- Contribute to development toolchain and methodologies.
- Create clear technical component designs based on requirements and architecture.
- Assist junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience in Telecommunications Provisioning and Billing domains.
- 5+ years of software development experience with modern Java SE (17+).
- Proficient in a Linux/Docker development environment.
- Experience with development, packaging, and release toolchain (Github, Maven, Kubernetes).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, PL/PGSQL, MyBatis, Apache Kafka, Camunda BPMN Engine, and REST API frameworks.
