About The Position

Senior Java/J2EE Application Developer - Texas Department - State Project - Contract - Need Austin Texas Residents Only Location: Onsite, 701 W. 51st Street Austin, Texas 78751 Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in analysis and development across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, integration, and deployment of applications. 8+ years of experience in SQL programming and object-oriented analysis and design (OOD), with strong expertise in Java and J2EE technologies and interaction with relational databases. 8+ years of experience developing and supporting Web Services, RAD tools, and applications deployed on WebSphere platforms. 8+ years of experience creating, reading, and maintaining Oracle-based stored procedures and relational database applications. 8+ years of experience performing system integration testing (SIT) using advanced programming techniques and enterprise computer systems. 8+ years of experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration involving developers, business analysts, QA teams, peer reviews, and implementation activities while ensuring system requirements are fully documented. 8+ years of experience developing system test plans, test scenarios, test processes, and schedules, including defect tracking, validation, and resolution. 8+ years of experience with data structures, data migration, conversion, and transformation, and both relational and multidimensional database design concepts. 8+ years of experience evaluating user requests for new or modified applications, including feasibility analysis, cost estimation, timeline assessment, and system compatibility. 8+ years of experience consulting with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. 8+ years of experience formulating development plans using structured analysis and design or object-oriented development methodologies.

Requirements
