Capgemini is looking for a Senior Java Fullstack Developer/Lead to join us for a full-time, hybrid role in Camden, NJ. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of real-time integrations, web applications, and batch processing applications using Java and Spring frameworks. This role requires troubleshooting, debugging systems, managing project deployments, and production releases. The candidate should be self-directed, disciplined, and self-aware to balance project development and support activities while maintaining a commitment to excellence in quality and communication. Building effective relationships and communicating with business partners and vendors to collect and clarify business requirements is essential. The role also involves executing code reviews and ensuring work is completed on time and in accordance with our coding standards, conventions, and practices.

  • Design and develop real-time integrations, web applications, and batch processing applications using Java and Spring frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and debug systems, manage project deployments, and production releases.
  • Balance project development and support activities with a commitment to quality and communication.
  • Build effective relationships and communicate with business partners and vendors to clarify business requirements.
  • Execute code reviews and ensure work is completed on time and in accordance with coding standards.
  • 12+ years as a Java Developer with a strong background in software development.
  • Extensive experience with Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
  • Proficient in Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, JMS, Design patterns, and Webservices.
  • Good knowledge of React UI framework, JavaScript, and JSP.
  • Experience with SOAP & REST API integrations.
  • Designing and developing Spring Boot Microservices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Experience in AWS, Apache Ignite, AWS Cloud, and Continuous Integration environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development and experience with JIRA and GitHub.
