About The Position

Cognizant's Digital Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL along with domain expertise in Payer. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with no travel required.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in technical skills in SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Strong Rebate experience needed
• Have domain expertise in Payer with a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills

• Have experience with agile development methodologies
• Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Implement best practices for software development including coding standards, testing, and documentation
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the software system
• Ensure the security and scalability of applications through proper design and implementation
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of software solutions
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
