About The Position

The Senior Java Analyst/Developer at Minnesota IT Services plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining applications that support the Department of Human Services. Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of IT experience developing complete object-oriented Java web applications.
  • Experience in designing and developing modern front-end UI with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular or Vue.
  • Experience in developing front-end UI that interacts with back-end REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
  • Experience in RESTful API design and development with Java/Spring Boot.
  • Strong customer service skills including active listening and problem-solving.
  • Ability to deliver effective verbal and written communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NodeJS, RxJS, NgRx/Store, jQuery, XHTML, and HTML5.
  • Experience with Java testing frameworks such as Junit.
  • Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma.
  • Experience in object-oriented design and development, SDLC, and SQL.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Great attention to detail and time-management skills.
