AtkinsRéalis is a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization. For over 50 years, we've partnered with public and private clients across the U.S. to deliver infrastructure planning, engineering, construction, environmental consulting, urban planning, architecture, and program management. Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering.
  • M.S. or graduate level technical coursework preferred.
  • Seven years of experience since B.S. or six years since M.S.
  • Typical incumbent has ten to fourteen years of experience.
  • P.E. license is required.
  • Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) license a plus.
  • Technical writing, computer and communications skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs ITS/Traffic Engineering and design assignments of a varied nature.
  • Oversees and serves as Engineer of Record for ITS/Traffic Engineering designs.
  • Oversees development of designs including ITS, Traffic Signals, Signing, Pavement Marking, and Illumination designs.
  • Design and Testing of a Completed and Operational ITS System, Including DMS, CSS, CTSS, and Traffic Detectors.
  • Data and Video Communications Networks and Systems Integration, Including Fiber and Wireless Systems.
  • Teaches junior staff design principles.
  • Develops project scope and fees.
  • Provides construction oversight services such as response to RFIs.
  • Assist with proposal preparation as needed.
