Our work depends on a PC Systems Specialist joining our team to support INSCOM Army. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Senior IT Systems Solution Architect (Zero Trust), your work at GDIT will empower Army Intelligence’s most critical missions. You will be responsible for the lifecycle of personal computer systems, supporting classified environments where reliability and security are paramount. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to advancing enterprise IT operations. Lead/Manage/Support: Drive the analysis, design, and implementation of Zero Trust capabilities. Evaluate requirements, assess alternatives, and architect solutions that enable secure, modernized mission operations. Collaborate: Partner closely with engineers, cybersecurity SMEs, and government stakeholders to integrate Zero Trust principles across enterprise systems, ensuring interoperability and mission alignment. Drive: Champion Zero Trust adoption, mapping strategic objectives to actionable technical milestones and aligning architecture with mission outcomes. Utilize: Apply deep technical experience across ICAM, ZTNA, SEIM, SOAR, and enterprise security tools to deliver resilient, scalable, and policy‑compliant cybersecurity solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT systems architecture, enterprise architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience managing cybersecurity projects, including Zero Trust implementation and ICAM integration.
  • Practical knowledge of Zero Trust principles and recognized cybersecurity frameworks, translating them into delivery plans and policy enforcement.
  • In-depth working knowledge in one or more cybersecurity technology domains such as: Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Security Event Incident Management (SEIM), Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR)
  • Proficiency with structured PM tools and governance practices to manage scope, schedule, risk, and budget.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills; ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.
  • TS/SCI Required
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract.
  • US Citizenship Required

  • IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification
  • PMI-ACP, CISSP, CCSP, GSLC, CASP, Security+, or Zero Trust/ICAM-focused Preferred Computing Environment certification:
  • PMP or PMI-ACP
  • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and maintain enterprise Zero Trust architecture, technical documentation, and integration strategies.
  • Perform requirements analysis, due diligence, and solution design to support Zero Trust modernization initiatives.
  • Build work breakdown structures and delivery schedules, tracking milestones, risks, and interdependencies.
  • Plan and guide the integration of Zero Trust components—including identity, devices, networks, applications, data, and analytics—into existing Army INSCOM systems.
  • Ensure solutions align with cybersecurity frameworks, DoD policies, regulatory requirements, and operational constraints.
  • Lead cross-functional technical teams, providing architectural direction and ensuring alignment across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations.
  • Manage risk, scope, and progress using structured project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or GitLab.
  • Conduct architecture assessments and develop recommendations for Zero Trust technologies and implementation pathways.
  • Drive transparent communication across stakeholders, ensuring decisions and dependencies are documented and traceable.
  • Provide consultative support on identity, access, data usage, workflow conflicts, and policy adherence.
