About The Position

CFG Merchant Solutions, LLC (CFGMS) is a rapidly growing alternative finance company that provides working capital to small and medium sized businesses throughout the US in the form of Revenue Based Financing. We are seeking a senior IT technical support specialist to handle day-to-day end user support for a 120 employee, multi-site Windows environment to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to IT projects and process improvements. Will assist IT director with supporting Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint access, Azure AD setup, OneDrive syncing, application installs, etc. Will be onsite in lower Manhattan with occasional site visits to Glen Rock, NJ and Holmdel, NJ offices. Need to have experience working directly with end users, basic hardware and software setup of Dell workstations and laptops. Pleasant attitude and friendly customer interaction personality a must.

  • Experience with Azure services such as EntraID, Sentinel, Intune

  • Active Directory management experience in a multi-site environment
  • Experience with SonicWALL firewalls
  • Ability to create end user friendly technical how-to knowledge base articles
  • Experience with SOC2 audits

Responsibilities

  • System Administration: Assist with managing and maintaining servers, workstations, and enterprise applications. Perform system updates, patches, and backups. Perform routine updates of Windows and associated applications. Resolve alerts on systems configurations such Windows defender, firewall.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies and compliance standards. Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation.
  • Project Participation: Support IT infrastructure upgrades and deployments. Collaborate on cloud migration, virtualization, and automation initiatives.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain accurate technical documentation. Mentor junior IT staff and provide user training when needed.
  • SharePoint Intranet: Manage SharePoint and intranet environment across the enterprise.
  • End User Technical Support: Handle end user technical support cases on a daily basis on-site and via TeamViewer remote control. Setup and deploy new workstations and laptops as needed
